Interim Executive Director, Arkansas
Mia Meadows is a native of St. Louis, MO and has led efforts towards educational equity for over 12 years. As a first-generation college graduate, Mia knows first-hand many of the hardships students face. She is committed to seeing all students attain an excellent education.
Manager, Teacher Leadership Development
Elaina currently serves as an MTLD for the Pine Bluff, Lake Village, El Dorado, and Camden communities.
Manager, Teacher Leadership Development
Stephanie currently serves as an MTLD where she supports teachers in Helena and Marianna. She is also pursuing a Masters in curriculum and instruction at the University of Kansas,

Lizzy currently works as our Managing Director of Teacher Leadership Development and runs our teacher development team.
Coordinator, Hunt Education Center
Originally joining TFA staff in 1992, Ms. Bessie Hunt has the honor of officially being the longest-serving employee in the history of Teach For America. Today she serves as the Office Coordinator of the Hunt Education Center (HEC), the first building ever owned by Teach For America, which carries her name.
Manager, Internal Operations
Tamela joined staff in 2015 and serves as the Manager of Internal Operations for the Arkansas region.
Managing Director of Alumni & Public Partnerships
Kat currently serves as the Managing Director of Alumni & Public Partnerships, leading the Alumni & Public Partnerships team in supporting alumni, corps member licensure and onboarding, and district partnerships.

Manager, Alumni Engagement
Washington currently serves as the Manager of Alumni Engagement, supporting and connecting alumni teachers across the state as well as focusing on retaining second year corps members in Arkansas.
Manager, Teacher Leadership Development
Donnalie, a 2013 Arkansas alumna, taught 10th grade English for three years at her placement school in Pine Bluff, Arkansas before joining full time staff as an MTLD in 2016.
Managing Director of Development & Internal Operations
Austin first came to Arkansas as a member of Teach For America’s 2011 corps. Today he serves as the region's Managing Director of Development & Internal Operations.
Manager, Matriculation & Corps Member Support
Hannah is in her first year as the Manager of Matriculation and Corps Member Support for Teach For America - Arkansas. The best thing about her job is getting to connect with applicants and corps members by sharing stories about Arkansas and the amazing students here.
